Well we go through this efury year and this year we had a Surprise!
Mom found this Angel Kitty at the Christmas Craft Show and the Kitty Angel reminded Mom of our Zoe so ... she joined each of us for our Christmas portrait.
Jasper: These photos are in the order of who behaved the BEST during the photo shoot!
Or is it in the order of who gobbled up the MOST treats? MOL

Jobél is Celebrating Her Gotcha Day
Baby Jobél's First Christmas
Here's my entry in a Gotcha Day contest. I didn't win the December 1st contest sponsored by the Humane Society where Mom got me but since it was so close to my Gotcha Day I thought I'd share with my furiends.
Our OHS pet adoption "tail"
Well let me begin by saying that I contacted OHS in October 2000 to find a Manx cat. So for our family, a “tail” is NOT what we’re looking for! We do have many tales though!
I was really excited to learn that a kitten “with no tail” was being fostered with her Mom and three sisters until the kittens were old enough to be adopted. I immediately said I was interested in adopting her. The foster Mom was kind enough to give me frequent updates on the progress of the little family.
On December 4 I visited OHS to meet my kitten. She was and is adorable. She is black and white with many tiny black spots so she is my “Dalmation” kitty. She also has a black nose in the shape of a heart! She truly is a sweetheart in personality.
I learned when I saw her intake information that the Mom and kittens were found on Bell Street and I wanted to include this in her name. It was also significant that she was born in 2000 a year of Jubilee. I decided to name her Jobél, which is the root word for Jubilee. I’m thankful for that special fact of her beginnings being in her records and now in her name.
Jobél came home on an OC Transpo bus and was silent until a few blocks from our destination. Then she let everyone know she was onboard! She was so tiny and could fit in the palm of my hand but she sure could “sing” with gusto!
Jobél is such a gorgeous Manx. She is a rumpie riser with no tail but when she’s really happy there’s a spot under her fur that rises up and down. So cute!
Jobél is also very dog-like in that she loved for me to toss a ball to her and she would retrieve it. She also LOVES peanut butter!
I adopted Jobél as a companion to an older Manx I had recently adopted. I had searched for a long time and now I had two Manx beauties to share their first Christmas with me. So many beautiful memories over the years and Jobél will always be my Christmas girl as she arrived to make our family complete.
Two years later we moved from Ottawa but continue to support OHS through donating our HBC Rewards points. I will always be grateful to OHS for the care that was provided for Jobél before I brought her home. Every time I purchase her food and other supplies I get to thank OHS all over again.
Jobél recently turned eleven and in three days we celebrate her Gotcha Day. If it weren’t for OHS I would not have her and thousands of her kitty friends on Catster would not have read her tale on Catster. She has the OHS logo on her page for all to see. Visit her at http://www.catster.com/cats/525354 and say MEOW!

Something FISHY for My Birthday!
Jillian Grace
Today I am SIX and I still feel like a kitten!
Mom says my Birthday treat will be sharing some of her HADDOCK. *smacks lips*
Jasper and Jobel can hardly wait to toast me with TUNA Juice. We all love that so much! MOL
Tomorrow Mom is going "South of the Border". I wonder what she will find for me there? *makes up a Birthday Wish List*

We ordered our Shutterfly Christmas Cards!
We can't post the stylish design we chose because it has to be a SURPRISE to our friends in the Pen Paws Christmas Card Exchange. So instead, we posted the card that our Typist is sending to the family. It's nice but we're not in the photo! Check it out! It's in our previous post.
